I hate June Bugs.
Okay, had to get that out there. I’m sure they serve some purpose, but I really find them creepy and buzzy and kind of prehistoric. Not that prehistoric things are creepy. I mean, look at dinosaurs – they’re pretty cool. 🙂
Anyway, I am pretty close to finishing the major revisions of novel number three, Buried. I should be able to wrap it up by the end of this month and send it off to some beta readers. Once I do that, I’m hoping to work on a short story or two during that “downtime”.
I’ve also been toying with the idea of doing Nano this year because I have a tiny idea that’s been poking at me for the past few weeks. I really don’t have much in the way of sharing because it’s really just a basis of a character – there’s really no plot yet – but it’s starting to form. Once Buried is more “in the can” so to speak, I can focus on another plot/direction/characters. Until then, I usually stick with one book at a time. I know some folks can write three (or more!) large works at once, but that’s just never been my thing.
Other than that, Printer’s Row is of course coming up this weekend. I posted a big thing about that under the Events section on the blog. It has the official website so check that out if you plan on attending.
Between last weekend at Cogs and Corsets and THIS weekend in Chicago, I don’t have a new Meet & Greet interview to post. I hope to have a new one next week (Thursday is when I usually post a new one).
And if I may, please consider posting a review for ANY of my books if you have read them. It helps boost the visibility on Amazon. And that’s something we could all use these days…
