Time. Time. Time. See what’s become of me?

                                              – Simon and Garfunkle (“Hazy Shade of Winter”)

I love this song. From 1966, S&G nailed it right from the get-go. Pressure, time, the passing of seasons. It all comes down around your head like the proverbial vortex of chaos. What’s even MORE disturbing is that this song was covered in 1987 by The Bangles.

*Ug* – I’m old.

Anyway, there is a brand NEW shiny interview up (#72) as of this afternoon. And if that isn’t enough, I have been revising the Buried manuscript before I send it off to the beta readers. Yeah, yeah…I know. I was going to send it off about 2.5 weeks ago, but when I re-read it, I was like “nope”. So, that’s happening. BUT, the great news is that I only have 8 chapters left (out of 43). I know it sounds like a lot, but I tend to write short chapters to keep the book moving, so having 8 left isn’t as monstrous as it sounds. The betas will be receiving their copy by July 31st (if not a few days sooner).

I also have an Author Fair on the horizon. Princeton Public Library will be hosting their (4th?) annual Meet the Author Day on Saturday, September 22nd from 10am to 2pm. If you’re in the area, come on by. I’ll be posting specifics on the EVENTS page, but ‘save the date’!

For those of you who like crime drama stuff, check out “The Night Of…” with John Turturro. It’s from 2016 and is based on the BBC series “Criminal Justice”, HBO’s 8-part production. It’s really quite good – nothing horror-ish about it, except the general feeling is somewhat dark. I’ll probably post a review of it soon, but if you get the chance – do check it out.

And it’s time for another plea.

If you’ve read any of my books – Badfish, Track 9, In a Corner, Darkly: Volumes 1 and 2 – please consider posting a review (even a brief one!) on Amazon and/or Goodreads. It’s SO important. After a certain number of reviews (I’ve read 50 is the golden number)  Amazon will push the book on their own. I’m a long, frightening way from 50, but every one counts. So, please…
