I am THISCLOSE to getting back and finishing up Buried. It’s both exciting and exhausting to think about. After working on something (whatever it may be) for so long, part of me wants to be DONE already but part of me wants to re-write the whole thing. Yeah, I know… (that will NOT happen, by the way.)
We are back from Missouri. A couple stand out things: The Butterfly House in Chesterfield, MO and Fast Cars in St. Charles, MO. If you are in the area of these places, you would be well advised to check them out. Very different from each other but very cool.
I’ve JUST lined up my first event for 2019! I will be at the Bloomington Steampunk Festival in June! It actually fell on Printer’s Row weekend and when I saw that, I was like, “NOOOO!!!” But I have to be practical when thinking about this stuff. I can either do Printer’s Row for 2.5 hours ONE day in Chicago OR spend 2.5 DAYS in Bloomington (where I live) selling my wares. And that’s how I made that decision.
I’m also on the lookout for other events/author fairs in Central Illinois. If you know of some (or even one!), let me know. I understand that there are probably TONS near Chicago, but if possible, I’d like to stay under an 80-100 mile radius at the most.
There is a NEW interview up today (plus, a couple of other new postings). I’m also planning on putting a new movie or two up either later tonight or tomorrow, so check back.
Here’s to 2019 – may it be a groovy year. And animals. Always with the animals. 🙂
Thanks to all of YOU for following / reading / sharing!
