Edouard Prisse, Meet and Greet Author #295, joins the ranks of the blog today! A big, juicy thank you to Edouard for stopping by and sharing his interview!
From Edouard’s agent: Prisse is a Dutch macroeconomist, political thinker, and nobleman whose books have been called “A brilliant blend of economic logic and political urgency” (Daniel K. Emerson, Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Economic Forum). His forthcoming book, written in layman’s terms for a general audience, argues that the U.S. has mismanaged its trade relationship with China since opening markets in 2000, based on faulty assumptions about how China would respond to free trade. According to Prisse, policymakers still have not fully reckoned with this mistake, which continues to shape today’s economic tensions.
**And a quick editor’s note: The NEW blog is being created (out of my hands as someone else is formatting and working to set it up). Keep an eyeball peeled as to the latest info on that! 🙂
