Why do you write in the genre that you do?

I write to pioneer a new paradigm of leadership and personal growth, inspired by a blend of personal experience and profound insights and downloads from Source. My goal is to inspire and guide awakening souls and visionary leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers toward their highest potential, transcending traditional success and driving extraordinary impact with the power of inspiration.

How has writing changed/altered your life?

Writing has profoundly deepened my connection to Source and expanded my understanding of personal and collective transformation. It has been a journey of self-discovery and a platform to share a vision for a new era of leadership and soul mastery.

Who are your favorite authors and why?

Some of my favorite authors are the late Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dr. Alberto Villoldo, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, PhD, Deepak Chopra MD, Gregg Braden, and Lynne McTaggart. Their work bridges the gap between ancient wisdom, spirituality, and science, integrating spiritual insights with tangible reality. Their profound teachings have deeply influenced my own writing and the way I approach the integration of transformational principles into practical, actionable frameworks.

Do you believe that audiobooks are the wave of the future, more of a passing fad, or somewhere in between and why?

I feel that audiobooks are here to stay. While they may not replace traditional paperbacks, they offer a highly effective and efficient way to absorb content. Audiobooks expand the possibilities for “reading” beyond the confines of physical books, allowing us to engage with literature in places and times where reading a physical book might not be feasible, such as during commutes, workouts, or daily chores. This versatility makes them an invaluable tool for integrating learning and personal growth into our busy lives.

What have you found to be a good marketing tool? A bad one?

Effective marketing tools for me include social media, word of mouth, live events, and any channels that foster genuine connections with your audience. These methods allow for meaningful engagement and build strong relationships with potential readers. On the flip side, I don’t believe there’s a “bad” marketing tool per se—what matters is finding what works best for your unique style. If a tool doesn’t align with your personal style, it won’t be enjoyable or sustainable. The real “bad” strategy is not embracing marketing as an integral part of your author journey.

Do you believe writing should be censored – that some topics should remain taboo?

I believe that writing should not be censored, as every book has its own audience. While some topics might be sensitive or controversial, open dialogue and diverse perspectives are crucial for growth and understanding. Censorship can stifle creativity and prevent important conversations from happening.

Do you find that you sell better in person (at events) or through social media (like a personal blog, website, or Amazon)?

I find that a mix of in-person events and social media creates a powerful synergy. Each complements the other, amplifying reach and impact when combined effectively.

I am a firm believer that self-discovery and awareness help people grow into better versions of themselves each day. I try to encourage people through my writing.

I feel most alive when I write. And when I share my writing with others, it brings out the best in me.

Who are your favorite authors and why?
Deepak Chopra – he knows how to simplify a message for any audience.

What is your opinion of mainstream/corporate bookstores?
I used to love the atmosphere of bookstores but I would like to see the customer experience evolve. It would be great for bookstores to advertise workshops, social gatherings and interactive experiences on social media.

What do you hope your readers will take away from your work?
I hope readers will feel encouraged to celebrate themselves and share their gifts with this world.

How much does personal experience play in your written work?
My best work comes out when I share my personal experiences. They also help me to stay grounded and authentic, which is important since I give a lot of advice!

How do you find the motivation to complete a book/story?
I remind myself that someone needs to hear what I have to say. It forces me to stay engaged and finish my project.

What makes you NOT finish reading a book?
If I feel like there is some form of social injustice, prejudice or stereotyping, I will stop reading the book.
