I have not yet started back on revision #3 of Rage. I know, I know…I kept posting that I was going to, but between work, maintaining some kind of normalcy each day, and fighting the Covid fight* (see below), I just haven’t had the energy, focus, or time.
*I do not have Covid – thank G-d – but the numbers at Illinois State University (where I work) are skyrocketing and campus is not shutting down. We currently stand at 22.5% positivity rate. So, I’m spending a considerable amount of time keeping up with the campus news and reports surrounding this issue.
Anyhow, we’ve just finished Season 2 of Umbrella Academy. I’m generally not a big fan of comic-based shows, but this one is different to me. The stories of all the characters are what’s keeping me there – not necessarily the “superpower scenes”. Have you seen it?
We also just saw a 2011 movie called “Killer Joe”. If you want to watch something that goes a bit off the rails, this is it. It’s not horror, but it is rather intense.
Are any of you participating in outdoor events? There are a few around this area, but I have to say, I’m just not comfortable with all the potential touching/interacting, especially since the numbers around here are heading in the wrong direction. For those of you who have done so, what has been your experiences? Good? Bad?
Generally speaking, I am REALLY looking forward to fall. It’s my favorite season. I’m hoping to get some gourds, a hay-bale, and pumpkins and do a “thing” in our front yard, but I’m going to wait until all the scary (real!) spiders go away for the year. LOL.

That’s scary about the Covid cases where you work. I haven’t engaged in any outdoor events or gatherings, but I have gone shopping to various stores on a number of occasions. We put our vacation on hold this year, however, because neither hubby or I are comfortable risking what that might entail.
I’ve seen Umbrella Academy advertised but haven’t tried it yet. Right now I’m knee deep in Longmire, and just finished Dead to Me. I love that Netflix has such variety!

Yes! We just hit over 10.1% this morning with 217 new cases in our county. It’s insane. And apparently, a LOT of people are still hanging out at the bars without masks.
On another note – thank goodness for Netflix! LOL! 🙂

I have seen the 2nd season of Umbrella Academy. It didn’t really click with me, but from the reviews I can tell I’m in the minority.:-) I’m looking forward to the most recent season of Lucifer. I think it’s out(?), but I haven’t started watching it yet.

Yes. Another 217 added this morning to our county’s numbers. I basically just want to travel in a big bubble whenever I go out!
I think we tried watching Lucifer, but didn’t get into it. We’re going to give Cobra Kai a shot next. 🙂
