New Author Alert! 1/10/22

D. Wallace Peach welcomes in the blog’s Meet & Greet section for 2022! I want to thank her for taking the time to share her answers with us.

Please feel free to engage with her (and all the other authors/musicians/artists) in the comments sections. I know that leaving comments on this blog aren’t as “user friendly” as some others, but I promise to work on that in ’22. I’m not “technically inclined” but don’t let that stop you from reaching out to folks who share! 🙂

Thank you again, D!

    1. Thanks for taking the time to visit and read, Robbie. It’s a pleasure to be here at Sue’s, and I loved her questions. I was a total fanatic when I started. Writing was like an addiction I just couldn’t stop. I’d start at 4:00 in the morning and go until dinner time. I wouldn’t stop to eat or drink during the day and ended up with a heart condition from becoming so dehydrated! I’m all better now and have reverted to a sane schedule. But I still love it. 🙂 Happy Writing, my friend.

      1. I can tell you are very devoted to writing, Diana. I am sorry to heart about your heart condition, it just shows that balance is necessary. You are obviously quite an obsessive person, just like me. I have high blood pressure caused by stress. I’m fine when I’m not working.

  1. Hi, Sue. Happy New Year!
I enjoyed Diana’s interview. I think my jaw dropped when she said she used to write 10-12 hours a day. Yikes! Even a full-time job doesn’t require those hours, LOL. I think 6-7 hours is probably my max to sit at a keyboard composing.
    Fun interview!

    1. Thanks for stopping by to check out Sue’s interview, Mae. Those hours are old news now, but I was a fanatic… or addict? I wrote my first draft of my first book in 30 days (it was almost 200,000 words). It was awful too. Ha ha. But that’s an example of my writing obsession. I still love it, though. Happy Writing!

    1. Thanks so much for the visit, Sharon. Sue had some wonderful questions and I’m tickled by her generosity. My productivity has slowed down quite a bit, but that’s okay with me. Life is about change, right? Have a wonderful day. 🙂 Happy Writing!

    1. Yes, it was! All of them are great in their own way. I’m going to start reminding folks to leave comments. I know it’s not the easiest/user friendly set-up, but it can be done. 🙂

    1. I can’t do that anymore, Liz. And back then, I wasn’t blogging. Blogging cut that down significantly. But I start at 4 AM which means by noon, I’m 8 hours in and still have the whole day to do other things if I need to… or keep writing! Thanks for the visit and comment. Much appreciated!
