Ever have one of those “I’m extremely busy but nothing of note is really happening” periods of time?

Yeah, that’s been going on a LOT over these past couple weeks. I’ve found myself having 12-13 hour days away from the house, but not feeling particularly  accomplished. It feels like a number of people are kind of going through the same thing right now. Not sure if it’s the weather or February blahs or political exhaustion…maybe a combination of everything.

But, I DID manage to finish Buried!

Yes! The manuscript is done. (Actually, I’ll be giving it one final ‘eyeball’ for grammatical errors). I’ve been looking at a few sources to contact regarding the proper formatting and cover-making side of things. I wanted to be at that point by the end of February, so I’m pretty much there. My hope is to line someone up by the first week of March. (here’s to hoping that runs smoothly…)

On book signing/events? Pretty slow right now. I’ve been scouting out some potential places but events are a bit on the thin side – especially focusing on areas that are NOT in Chicago/St. Louis areas.

So, there it is. Not too exciting, but I expect things will pick up once winter passes. Still, keep an eyeball peeled for a NEW interview posting this Thursday and another movie review soon!
