How are all you Nano-ing people doing out there? We’re closing in on the last few days (that’s pretty much why I’ve been scarce around here), and I know these final days tend to be a real push toward the goal of 50,000 words. It is for me. I’m currently at 45,002. I believe I will make it, but everything else is going to have to take a back seat for that to happen.
I haven’t done Nano in two years. I had forgotten that everything else goes by the wayside when focusing on getting that word count in. It’s been challenging to be sure, but I imagine those who have kids and/or other daily priorities have a more difficult time. You certainly deserve all the admiration! Truly!
I’ve taken quick ganders at possible author fairs that are coming up in the early months of 2020, but haven’t found any that would be a good fit or convenient to travel to (for us). When Nano is done, I’ll poke around the internet some more.
Are YOU doing Nano? How’s it coming? What are you working on? It’s a busy time for a whole host of reasons this time of year, so I won’t keep you. Just wanted to connect for a brief moment during these last few crazy days of Nanowrimo.
I’ll be posting a NEW Meet & Greet on Friday, so come on back for that. If you have time off and/or celebrate Thanksgiving, have an awesome one! π
We’re almost there…

If you’re at 45k, you’re gonna make it, woohoo! My Nano is a combo of new writing and old editing, so I haven’t really “won” even though I’ve gone over 50k. It’s okay, I’m happy with the overall progress.

That’s outstanding! You most certainly HAVE won! Woo! π Excellent job. I hope to make it – I just have to stay on top of it. The next few days can disappear into napping and watching tv! LOL.
