Bloggy Update 1/3/21

Happy New Year!

2021 is finally here and I couldn’t be happier.

I imagine this means a LOT of different things to a LOT of people – mostly positive, I would hazard to guess. I know it does for me as well. I mean, season three of Cobra Kai has finally arrived (LOL!)

I’m knee deep in Revision #4 of Rage. I’ve done 14 chapters as of this typing and hope to get another two chapters done before the day is through. I still have the goal of finishing by the end of January, but I need to give myself a little bit of leeway since I start back to work tomorrow.

Which brings me to the delightful number – 39! That’s how many “work” days I have left before retirement. Yeah, I know. Everyone’s sick of hearing/reading about it. LOL. But if you’ve gone through it, you know. And if you have YET to experience it, remember these posts! You’ll be counting days and minutes at some point, too! 🙂

New Year’s was quiet – staying home (as we normally do), watching the Twilight Zone Marathon. I’ve also started re-watching Breaking Bad again. I know – I just did that like, 6 months ago or something, but it’s SO GOOD.

I’m hoping that some folks take me up on my offer of Author interviews. If you (or anyone you know) would like to participate in the Meet & Greet – just send me an email (srovens@yahoo.com). Genre or professional level is not important – as long as you’ve published something (self publishing counts!), that’s the only requirement. Help me spread the word, okay? Without being able to go to events these days, a little free publicity can only be a good thing, right?

Let me know what you’ve been up to in 2021 so far!

  1. Hey Sue. I understand you’re looking for authors to interview. My domestic thriller, The Surrogate, will be published by Black Rose Writing on May 6, 2021. You can check it out on my website. Let me know if you’d like a digital ARC.

  2. Hello Sue! I followed Teri’s post here regarding author interviews. My LGBT fantasy novel The Century’s Scribe came out back in August with Black Rose, and it’s sequel comes out in July. If you’re still looking for authors to interview, I would love to have a spot!
