Ordering toilet paper off the internet. Binge-watching a show called Tiger King. Going to bed at 2am like it’s normal.

It’s come to this, I suppose. It’s strange how this “new normal” (albeit temporary, let’s hope) has become the accepted way to live. I’ve been “in the house” for the past 14 days, only going out to the store when I have to, plus doing cardio every other day. The good thing is that I’ve started back on the manuscript of Rage (book #4). I’ve already re-written Chapter One. Sure, it’s going to be a long process, as it normally is, but where else am I going?

We are technically supposed to return to work at ISU on April 7/8. I don’t know if that’s actually going to happen. I don’t think anyone does at this point. With the numbers still going up, I imagine it’s impossible for anyone to make a definitive decision about the near future.

I hope all of YOU are doing well during this crisis. Any good toilet paper stories? How are YOU keeping busy? Do you have to work outside of the house?

I’ll be posting another Meet & Greet interview very soon. I’m trying to gather more up for everyone to read and throwing out the “posting on Thursdays” mandate. I’m waiting about 4-5 days in between each one right now.

Okay, I’ll check in again soon. Keep reading. Keep posting. Keep washing.

    1. Hi Pauline! Yes, I understand. I JUST started back on my manuscript from November’s Nano. I find that I really have to compartmentalize the time I use for writing. It’s so easy to stop everything and watch the news right now.

  1. I’ve been keeping busy reading, working out (cardio, yoga, weights), and doing projects around the house that I’ve put off. I haven’t written anything yet, but plan to get started by the end of the weekend. Take care, Sue!

    1. It’s hard, isn’t it? To pull away from the news? I find myself checking “those websites – WHO/CDC/Johns Hopkins so much throughout the day. Plus, seeing where Illinois is on their radar. Cardio is a big help, isn’t it? 🙂
